Since 2006: A shareholder and the Managing Director of Stock Brokers Maldives (SBM). SBM is the first licensed brokerage firm in the Maldives and holds one tenth shares of the Maldives Stock Exchange, and offers a variety of financial services ( www.stockbrokersmaldives.com ); and

Since 2004: Managing Director of Simdi Company. A trading company representing many pretegious international brands in the Maldives ( www.simdi.com ).

Assignments

Following are some of the recent and notable few businesses I am previllaged to have involved:

Worked as an analyst in the sale of fifty percent of One & Only Kanuhura and the encashing of the asset to Sun Resorts, Mauritius in 2008 for US Dollars 90 million.

In 2006 functioned as an arbitrator for the Lohifushi shareholder dispute (now named Hudhuranfushi), a project valued at twenty million dollars, and the subsequent sublease of the resort to Aitken Spence, Sri Lanka.

In 2002 worked as a strategist in the part of Mr. Ibrahim Mohamed Didi in the sale of 25 per cent share share of One & Only Kanuhura (asset valued at US $ 34 Million) to Sun International (now known as Kerzner International).

In 2000, worked as a strategist for Cowrie in the 60 percent shares sale to Aitken Spence, a PLC from Sri Lanka. Greatly recorded tasks include the documentation and transfer of resort development responsibilities and provisioning sufficient protection for the minority shareholders.
